Dušan Simić (Serbian Cyrillic: Душан Симић, pronounced [dǔʃan sǐːmitɕ]; May 9, 1938 – January 9, 2023), known as Charles Simic, was a Serbian American poet and co-poetry editor of the Paris Review.

Charles Simic (em sérvio: Душан "Чарлс" Симић; Belgrado, 9 de maio de 1938 – Dover, 9 de janeiro de 2023) foi um poeta estadunidense de ascendência sérvia e editor de The Paris Review. Em 1990, recebeu o Prêmio Pulitzer de Poesia pela obra The World Doesn't End.

Charles Simic is widely recognized as one of the most visceral and unique poets writing today. His work has won numerous awards, among them the 1990 Pulitzer Prize, a MacArthur Foundation “genius grant,” the Griffin International Poetry Prize, the Wallace Stevens Award, and the appointment as US poet laureate.
