Haberdashers' Castle House School. An independent day school for children to 11 years. Welcome. Haberdashers' Castle House is an independent preparatory day school for boys and girls, first established in 1944, at Chetwynd End, Newport, Shropshire. The school is an associate of the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers'. It is also a member of the Haberdashers' West Midlands Academy Trust founded by nearby Haberdashers' Adams.

PE is a strength of the school. Wherever possible children are given a physical education lesson every day. There are specialist teachers for swimming, which is taught weekly throughout the school, dance and gymnastics. All children also have general PE skills and games lessons.
Our home-from-home environment coupled with the kind, caring and nurturing approach of our Lower School teachers creates an experience that is tailored to the needs of every child. Reception fees - £2,500 per term, £8,220 annually or £754.80 per month over 10 months (£2745 per term from Sept 2024)
