6 de mai. de 2024 · My own brother played Lennie in a production staged not far from where Of Mice and Men is set; and although there have been many film versions of this work, my personal favorite is the one starring Steinbeck’s friend Burgess Meredith as George and Lon Chaney Jr. as Lennie.
Series creator Rod Serling stated that this was his favorite episode of the 92 shows he wrote for the program. Titled “Time Enough At Last,”:it was one of four episodes that featured Burgess Meredith in the lead role. In the first four seasons, he starred in one each, with this was the first season offering.
