Mon, Apr 25, 1960. Cal Calhoun, when he was a police detective, arrested a man for murder. Six hours before the man is to be executed, Calhoun is convinced the man is innocent. Calhoun makes progress and is on the verge of cracking the case when he realizes he's also the victim of deceit.
