William Desmond Anthony Pertwee, MBE (21 July 1926 – 27 May 2013) was an English actor and comedian. He is best remembered for playing Chief ARP Warden Hodges in Dad's Army and P.C. Wilson in You Rang, M'Lord? .

Bill Pertwee was an actor and writer, known for Dad's Army (1968), Dad's Army (1971) and Chance in a Million (1984). He was the son of Jon Pertwee and the godfather of Ian Lavender, and a member of the Dad's Army (1968) Appreciation Society.
