He has an odd face that's borderline ugly at some angles but in others he looks kinda supernatural almost. His eyes are so sharp and bright, and he still has generic attarctive features such as high cheekbones and good facial structure. He just looks weird but he's not unattractive.

Barry looks very distinct in comparison to Joel. Whenever I get back to drawing people again, I can tell the difference. Even the eyes and nose are very different; there's a slight similarity but in general no it's not the same.
25 de mar. de 2022 · On my Irish side we came from Thailand way far back, my uncle is the only one in my family who looks Asian. Barry definitely has Asian in his and him not knowing dad’s background I am quite sure it’s Asian. Nothing wrong with that. He’s definitely Irish but has strong Asian look. He’s gorgeous either way.
I think the part about the field really added to the overall impact of the scene. The way he was talking to the mortally wounded crewmember “see that long field” and cheering himself on “fly like an angel Curt” and then the horrible realization. Just a brilliant, heartbreaking scene. Barry did a truly beautiful job with this part.
