Ashton Fletcher Irwin (born July 7, 1994) is an Australian singer-songwriter and the drummer of 5 Seconds of Summer, along with band members Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, and Michael Clifford. Ashton was not an original member of the band, he only joined in December 2011 when 5 Seconds of Summer was in need of a drummer for a gig.
