Anthology 2 is a compilation album by the Beatles, released on 18 March 1996 by Apple Records as part of The Beatles Anthology series. It features rarities, outtakes and live performances from the 1965 sessions for Help! until the sessions immediately prior to their trip to India in February 1968.
On 26 November 1969, four months after contributor Brian Jones drowned in his swimming pool, [15] Lennon edited "You Know My Name (Look Up the Number)", reducing the length from 6:08 to 4:19, a more suitable time for a single.

The song features a saxophone solo played by the Rolling Stones' Brian Jones. The song moves through several sections which appear to be stylistic references to some of the Beatles' contemporaries including Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones, and Trini Lopez.
