Anne Wellesley, Countess of Mornington ( née Hill-Trevor; 23 June 1742 – 10 September 1831) was an Anglo-Irish aristocrat. She was the wife of Garret Wesley, 1st Earl of Mornington and mother of the victor of the Battle of Waterloo, Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington .

Lady Charles Cavendish-Bentinck (born Anne Wellesley; 29 February 1788 – 19 March 1875), known between 1806 and 1816 as Lady Abdy, was a British aristocrat and a great-great-grandmother of Queen Elizabeth II.

Anne Wellesley, Countess of Mornington, wife of the 1st Earl, daughter of Viscount Dungannon, and mother of the Duke of Wellington. 1742-1831. dated 1839.
Born at Kensington, Bentinck was the elder son of Lieutenant Colonel Lord Charles Bentinck and of Anne Wellesley, formerly Lady Abdy. He had a younger brother, Arthur Cavendish Bentinck, and two sisters, Anne and Emily.

21 de out. de 2016 · Anne Wellesley, beautiful, spoilt, impulsive and quick-tempered, was the eldest daughter of the 1st Marquess Wellesley, Richard Colley Wellesley, and his Parisian wife who had reputedly enjoyed a former career as an opera dancer.
Anne Wellesley, daughter of Richard Wellesley, 1st Marquess Wellesley and Hyacinthe Gabrielle Roland married, firstly, in 1806, Sir William Abdy (marriage dissolved June 1816) and secondly, in July 1816, as his second wife, Lord Charles Bentinck. She died, in her eighty-eighth year, in 1875.
