Lady Anne Boleyn (née Hoo; c. 1424 – 6 June 1485) was an English noblewoman, noted for being the great grandmother of Anne Boleyn and therefore the maternal great-great grandmother of Elizabeth I of England. She was the only child of Thomas Hoo, Baron Hoo and Hastings, and his first wife Elizabeth

The couple had two children, Sir William Boleyn of Blickening (c. 1449 - 1505) and Lady Anne Boleyn (1475 - 1556).

Anne Hoo (born c.1424), who married Sir Geoffrey Boleyn, mercer and Lord Mayor of London: they were the great-grandparents of Anne Boleyn. [77] [78] He married (2nd) before 1445 Eleanor Welles (daughter of Lionel de Welles, 6th Baron Welles and his first wife, Joan Waterton), by whom he had three daughters. [79]
22 de out. de 2013 · While Anne Hoo proved to be an important Boleyn woman, her daughter-in-law, Margaret Butler, proved even more prestigious. At the time of her marriage to William Boleyn, Margaret was the niece of the sixth Earl of Ormond – a prestigious link for the up and coming Boleyns.
He died on 10 October 1505 and in his will, proved later that year, he requested to be buried in Norwich Cathedral beside the grave of his mother Ann Hoo, and bequeathed his various manors in Norfolk, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Kent.
