Das All Souls College (vollständiger Name: College of the Souls of All the Faithful Departed) ist eines der konstituierenden Colleges der University of Oxford in Oxford im Vereinigten Königreich. Today, we find ourselves at All Souls College, or more formally known as College of the Souls of All the Faithful Departed, at none other than Oxford University. Planned, built, and endowed in the 1430s by Henry Chichele and co-founded with King Henry VI, All Souls was the byproduct of decades of careful thought about what the (already) old university needed in a new college.

All the manuscript descriptions in these lists were mostly very brief. In addition to the Coxe Catalogue, the Library’s pre-1550 manuscripts were re-catalogued to full modern standards in: Watson, Andrew G., A Descriptive Catalogue of the Medieval Manuscripts of All Souls College, Oxford. (Oxford, 1997).

If I had to pick just one of these as the most beautiful Oxford college it would be this one. Magdalen is one of the biggest Oxford colleges and the grounds are simply enormous.
