Biography. Alice was the daughter of Raoul/Ralph de Toeni and his wife Mary, whose family origins are uncertain. [1] [2] Her parents had lands in several counties and her birthplace is not known. It was probably in England, where most of her parents' property was, but her father also had interests in Wales.
