  6. This is about grammar, not whether "fleet means Royal Navy", or whether you think there is some sort of analogy going on (there isn't). Have a read of proper noun - "admiral of the fleet" is not in any way, shape or form a proper noun, nor is "fleet". By contrast, "Royal Navy" is a proper noun.
