  4. 6 de nov. de 2022 · Com Adam Bede (1859) minha lista de obras lidas de George Eliot, ou Mary Ann Evans (1819-1880), cresceu um pouco mais, foi para quatro. Primeiro li o excelente, monumental (882 páginas) Middlemarch (1871), depois o ótimo Silas Marner, o Tecelão de Raveloe (1861) e em seguida o apreciável O Moinho à Beira do Rio Floss (1860).
