Count Alfred Émilien O'Hara van Nieuwerkerke (16 April 1811 in Paris – 16 January 1892 in Gattaiola, near Lucca) was a French sculptor of Dutch descent (his grandfather was the illegitimate son of a minor stadthouder) and a high-level civil servant in the Second French Empire.

Gestionnaire des musées nationaux, puis impériaux, du 25 décembre 1849 au 5 septembre 1870, le comte Émilien de Nieuwerkerke disposait au Louvre d’un logement de fonction où il s’installa dès le lendemain de sa nomination. De 1849 à 1857, il occupa un appartement situé à l’emplacement de l’escalier Daru, près du salon Carré.
