Brigadier is traditionally the most senior non-commissioned rank in the Dutch police, for example the National Police Corps (Korps Nationale Politie). Its predecessors also used this rank. The Royal Marechaussee (military police/gendarmerie) does not use this rank.
The 19th Brigade is an Army Reserve brigade of the British Army. As the 19th Infantry Brigade it fought in the First and Second world wars. The brigade became 19 Light Brigade in 2005, and moved to Northern Ireland following the end of Operation Banner and "normalisation" of British military operations in the province.

The 77th Brigade is a British Army formation, created in January 2015 by renaming the Security Assistance Group which was created under the Army 2020 concept. [4] [5] It is based at Denison Barracks in Hermitage, Berkshire and became operational in April 2015. [6] [7]
