The colour version of the national emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan consists of two colours: gold and sky blue. The golden colour corresponds to the bright, clear future of the Kazakh people, and the blue sky colour is a symbol of aspiration for peace, consent, friendship and unity with all people.

L' emblème du Kazakhstan est une représentation du shanyrak (voûte supérieure de la partie d'une yourte) contre un ciel bleu qui irradie les uyks (en forme de rayons de soleil) (tenants) institué par les ailes des mythiques chevaux. La partie basse du blason porte l'inscription « Kazakhstan ».

Il a comme motif central un aigle des steppes de couleur or, ailes déployées, surmonté d'un soleil à 32 branches de couleur or. L'aigle était le symbole de Gengis Khan, et était aussi présent sur sa bannière.

Kazakhstan, officially the Republic of Kazakhstan, is a landlocked country mostly in Central Asia, with a part in Eastern Europe. It borders Russia to the north and west, China to the east, Kyrgyzstan to the southeast, Uzbekistan to the south, and Turkmenistan to the southwest, with a coastline along the Caspian Sea.

On the right and left of shanyrak there are images of mythical winged horses.
