Ragnar Tørnquist (born 31 July 1970) is a Norwegian game designer and author. He has been working for Funcom in Oslo since 1994, and has founded his own studio Red Thread Games in November 2012. Biography. Tørnquist studied art, history and English at St Clare's, a school in Oxford, from 1987 to 1989.

Biography. Norwegian writer/director of The Longest Journey (TLJ) and Dreamfall Ragnar Tornquist was born on the 31st of July 1970 [1], the second youngest of 4 brothers and one sister. As of the 14th of January 2005, he is reported to be married to Heloise Marie from the Philippines, with whom he had his daughter Sara on the 26th of August 2007.
In their 2008 interview with Rock, Paper, Shotgun, the writers of Dreamfall, Ragnar Tørnquist and Dag Scheve, have repeatedly stressed that faith was the central theme of the game's narrative and outlined a "journey of faith" model that guided the story arcs of every major character (Zoë, April, Kian, and Faith).
