28 de jul. de 2020 · ScarletIceRyu. •. In the epic games launcher, Go to settings, click Throttle Downloads set it to a big number like 100,000. I was getting 0.4 -1 MB's before doing that. Bumped up to 10 MB's after. Thats the only thing I changed. Play around with the number. 200,000 actually gave me worse speed.

5 de set. de 2020 · So i closed the Epic Games Store in the Windows System Tray (the arrow next to the windows clock) and opened it again in administrator mode. Then, I started the download again and it did well (in my case around 10MB/s), but in some cases it can return to the 0.00B/s problem. If it occur you have to repeat the process, closing and opening again ...

It’s a safe application that launches games. It’s no different than gog or uplay or steam in that respect, just has less features. Reply reply.
7. Now, reboot your pc. 8. Open Epic Games Launcher, and test if it helped (both for the launcher updates themselves, and for game downloads and updates). I've already had a couple other people tell me they had this slow download speed issue, and that this exact thing fixed it for them, so I hope it helps someone else out there equally frustrated.
26 de out. de 2020 · Note: The Epic Games download speed indicator is incorrectly calculating current downloads. It appears their calculation is off by the same factor (bit vs byte). So when downloading, if you want to check your throttling is working, your best way to check is to log into your router - most recent generation routers have some form of bandwidth ...
29 de out. de 2020 · On Epic Games, my download is usually anywhere from 0b/s to 2MB/s (and it’s always going up and down). I have slow internet but I can’t imagine that it’s only causing downloads on Epic to be slow. Why are Steam download fine but Epic download extremely slow and inconsistent?
9 de abr. de 2020 · OMG, this EPIC games launcher is so absurdly bad and so their servers. A game I install with 5 minutes on steam takes me 5 hours to install there... not to mention these bugs all the time. It is literally taking me 5 hours to install a game. This is not acceptable this day and age with fast connection. Will try to test this fix next time.
9 de nov. de 2021 · 3. Start the install from the launcher. It will ask you to "Choose install location". Select the base Epic Games folder where your game files are already installed. ex. C:\Program Files\Epic Games. It will then show that path and add the game folder to the end. ex. C:\Program Files\Epic Games\ShadowComplexRemastered. Click Install.

Epic Game Store is at early age of development, don't expect it to have all the features a mature platform like Steam has. U can use legendary to download cloudsaves.
