The 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup was the 19th edition of the men's national basketball tournament, hosted by the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia. Germany won their first title by defeating Serbia in the final, while Canada won the bronze medal and qualified for the 2024 Olympics.
