Warp's primary goal is to make your internet connection more stable. Warp Plus adds smart routing by utilizing Cloudflare's Argo service so your traffic always takes the fastest route. it is private in term of connections between you and your ISP. so no, your ISP and wifi network cannot see your network activities.
It uses either warp (based on wireguard, TLS or HTTPS to connect to the cloudflare servers to perform dns requests. That is 1.1.1.1 app. Warp (or warp+ on mobile which is paid, unlike pc) is the same as above, but it also routes your traffic through cloudflare. Not only dns requests but ALL traffic except sites that use cloudflare themselves.

Basically, you can make only your Twitch to go through Warp, while the game you're playing to be excluded and use your regular Internet. 13 de dez. de 2023 · Trust me people will install it to $1M animation workstation. I have 2.5Gb symmetrical fiber Internet service. With WARP off, I get about 2.35Gb down and 2.55Gb up. With WARP on, I get about 550Kb down and 690Kb up. (Speeds via Ookla Speedtest.) In both cases, I do have 1.1.1.1 active. No experience with WARP+.
25 de set. de 2021 · WARP continues to run in the background despite the checkbox for (run automatically) being turned off. When I first restarted my computer, I thought I had solved my first issue. However on closer inspection via Activity Monitor, the WARP process was actually still running in the background, despite there being no visible icon on the menu bar.

I just saw a video reviewing Warp Terminal and it seems to be awesome to me, as a young developer the fact that I can modify a command, select text in it and change it, or move the cursor by clicking somewhere else is a good feature.

DNS over HTTPS is an encrypted DNS request OUTSIDE the WARP Tunnel to the nearest 1.1.1.1 Endpoint.
