The creator of the VigEM Bus Driver issued an update that downloads and runs the legicinator as at the end of the year, the domain for VigEM will go to new owners, so to remove this security flaw, the legicinator simply turns off VigEM's auto updater to stop this security flaw from causing any harm, it basiclaly redirects it to a new URL
3 de nov. de 2023 · nefarius pushed an update yesterday that removes the updater, he notes in his github remarks that the in-place upgrade doesn't work. I downloaded and installed manually. As soon as I launch my ps5 controller I blue screen windows sites that vigem bus driver was the issue. installing previous version resolved the issue.

Hey everyone, I've built a client for sending Stadia Controller input to ViGEm which basically means that it will appear to your PC as an Xbox 360 controller. I've done a little bit of testing and it seems to work on everything I've tried so far so I thought I'd share the wealth.

8 de abr. de 2021 · After opening DS4Windows and navigating to Settings- Controller/Driver Setup, I click "Step 1: Install ViGEmBus Driver". This would tell me it's downloading then stop at about 95% and then just close on its own. After researching the problem I tried downloading ViGEmBus through github, attempting multiple versions of ViGEm.
