24 de jun. de 2023 · VATSIM also has trained ATC, unlike IVAO where you can log on without training to some ATC positions. IVAO has more flexible rules so it is more beginner friendly but starting with VATSIM is cool too. VATSIM also has more activity than IVAO. So if you’ve read your stuff, try vatsim
20 de jan. de 2020 · Imo WebEye is still something I prefer over the radars you mention but hey, everyone has preferences haha. But I didn’t wanna imply VATSIM does not have good radars, I just don’t know a lot of radars for VATSIM in general so :P
27 de mar. de 2019 · IVAO has the better voice codec, but VATSIM has the newer and better FSX/P3D pilot client (both in terms of setup and use), but inferior X-Plane client (VATSIM, that is). Both use the same underlying ancient network protocol, but that's mostly unnoticeable to the average user anyway.
VATSIM requires that you check into the flight deck at most 30 minutes after ATC attempts to contact you. If you fail to check in, a supervisor will forcibly disconnect you. If you do it too much, it can result in a suspension or even a ban. Sometimes Supervisors will check in with aircraft not in controlled airspace.

20 de jun. de 2021 · Volanta. VATSpy also has custom colours 😏. VATSPY is great for most things, you can filter everything really easily. volanta as well if you would like to track ur flights. Volanta also shows what sectors are being extended by atc. It’s not a downloadable application but you can just use https://map.vatsim.net.
15 de jun. de 2024 · The short answer is I have cancer and haven’t been able to spend much time maintaining it lately. I hope this answers your question. Yeah simaware has been super buggy lately. I'm pretty impressed with vatsim radar. The information it provides is pretty cool too.
