If you pay for data in tradovate and then link the 2 accounts you will have the same real time futures data available at tradingview, and can also execute trades on the tradingview chart if you so wish. Message Tradovate support they’re great at explaining it and very responsive.
14 de jan. de 2023 · You can get TV on tradovate for 10.99/month. From what I have heard tradovate might have a faster market data response time than AMP. I Have not tested this, but so far tradovate has been more than enough. In combination with a bookmap or jigsaw dom and footprint you might be ok with a low overhead as a new trader
13 de ago. de 2023 · Sierra, but if it’s between the two, avoid Tradovate at all costs. If you use windows it’s not even a question, just go with ninjatrader. Ninjatrader bought out tradovate and I think eventually tradovate will disappear. Tradovate has a decent web version, so you can use it on a MacBook easily. Between the 2 it's ninja.
Beware of Tradovate. I have blown up 2 accounts because Tradovate didn't abide by my sell or stop orders. I would try to drag and drop my stop to tighten it up, but it wouldn't take and would revert back to the original price. I would move my sell order to exit, but it wouldn't fill and would also revert back.
4 de mai. de 2023 · wass1223. •. I recently left Tradovate. Using Amp futures with Tradingview integration. Loving it so far and scalping with no noticable order delay so far. The integration is free with Amp and commissions a little bit lower than Tradovate as well. With Tradovate it's 10 bucks for Tradingview integration.
Changing Margin requirements. I trade using tradavote through TradingView. I’m annoyed that Tradovate changes their margin requirements due to news with no notification. They will gladly notify you when you blew up an account but can’t be considerate to its clients to help prevent trading missteps.
3 de nov. de 2023 · My account got auto liquidated. So a few days ago I put in $250 into my account and I got auto liquidated. I realized $250 is prolly too low. How much should I be putting in and any good ways to avoid this again? Vote.
1 de jan. de 2023 · Tradovate here, very good for order execution, but I don’t like their charts. And ffs I wish they’d make the cursor crosshairs disappear when the cursor leaves the chart. But I also have a hundred bucks in a TDA account so I can use ToS for charting, plus I can use their free version of Bookmap for a better DOM for ES and MES.

If you turn off trade mode for any individual chart. Maybe you can if removed from all charts you could use hotkeys to trade. FYI, trade mode is under the top right settings for the chart next to the H.
