18 de set. de 2024 · Right-click on The Sims 4 desktop shortcut and select 'Properties'. In the 'Target' field, add a space at the end and then type "-dx11". Click 'Apply', then 'OK' to save the changes. Follow the same steps as above to reach the "Command Line Arguments" box (EA App) or the "Set Launch Options" text field (Steam).
Hero. @AgentButterfly25 Try moving the entire Mods folder to the desktop and allowing the game to create a new one. If that doesn't help, download a fresh copy of one mod or cc item confirmed compatible with patch 1.96 and add it to the new Mods folder, but nothing else, and test. If that doesn't help either, let me know what antivirus you use.

Hero. @Mack232323 Moving the Electronic Arts folder shouldn't be a problem. The game will create a new one, with a new Sims 4 folder inside, if it's able to launch at all. Try running the takeown command on your Documents folder. First, run a Windows search for "Command Prompt," open it, and enter this command:
24 de set. de 2024 · MapleSimmer. ★★★★★ Pro. @Rebekyy Per the Reaper's Reward blog post, it says that sims will get energized instead of scared with this lot challenge (not sure how that makes it a challenge, but regardless, that's what it says). I expect you wouldn't notice anything unless something happened that would usually make your sim scared.
After this new update, I can't enter CAS to make new Sims, change outfits, or plan outfits. I have to completely turn my PC off to get out of the loading screen. My Sims have random negative mood interactions and I can't enter build mode. I can't play the game at all, what a disappointment 😞. 201 people had this problem.
8 de ago. de 2024 · This is fallout of the game patch August 8 fixing some problems with glasses that were probably related to the new Maxis eyelashes. It's likely to need a fix on modders' side. I imagine Andrew will be looking at whether a Sims 4 Studio fix is possible, and that various creators will start looking for solutions.
20 de set. de 2024 · Prior to the update on 09/18/24, when I pressed the 'Windows' key, I was able to access my taskbar and minimize my Sims 4 game if needed. I did this often and it was never an incident. After the update, I noticed my Windows key was just completely non-responsive while in game. Alt + Tab did nothing either.
