Any file you download that isn't an executable file cannot be a virus. Rom Files cannot be infected with viruses. While executable files are indeed a common target for viruses and malicious software, it is overly simplistic to assert that files without the .exe extension are inherently safe.

The tips about BIOS and ROMs will mostly be the same but may vary. Retro Game Corp’s installation video on Emudeck’s website will guide you through the installation of Emudeck 2.0.
