She users Progresso and get loads of paper registers when the network fails to connect up. Now I thought there has to be away around this. Surely you could export (when the network was up) a .csv file of the class group, and get the Teacher to fill that out and send it over, then simply import the .csv file back in???

6 de mar. de 2023 · Ex Progresso user, but still interested. When did the announce end of development? When did they say they are pulling the plug. In some ways, I'm not surprised given market movements over the last few years and losing one of the bigger MATs must have been the last straw. I had my doubts about the longevity probably 5 years ago.
11 de out. de 2024 · 1974. What strikes me is most discussions focus on functionality of the various MIS, and rightly so. SIMS clearly is well behind most competitors. I see less discussion around price. I oversaw Progresso for a number of years at a growing allthrough school. It functionally was behind the top MIS, but arguably stronger than SIMS.
23 de set. de 2021 · Edulink and hosted SIMS - timeouts and broken link. We have been using a combination of hosted SIMS and Edulink since the start of term (we were on Progresso). It started off OK, then got slow, then got unusable. It's only the bits that make live calls to SIMS - all the rest is fine.
10 de mar. de 2017 · In terms of issues, its both! There was no training when Progresso was introduced and we don't have an SSRS expert- I'm learning on the fly. Our data manager can handle the data we generate but it is done outside the MIS, Progresso does a lot of the first level analysis of data, so analysis isn't really a concern.

You cannot create Timetables in Integris (at least you couldn't when we were using it last year) but you can import externally created timetables (from SIMS NovaT or Keith Johnson Timetabler) and then allocate pupils to classes within Integris.
