4 de ago. de 2023 · DIY: PCM4.0 CarPlay/Android Auto Activation + Map Updates. I think this deserves its own thread. I don’t own a Macan with PCM4.0 (mine is PCM3.1), but my 2018 718 does have PCM4.0 and I was able to activate CarPlay using this DIY in the first 3 hours of ownership…. I was also able to update the Navi Map to 2022 version.

Your wife probably didn’t notice much difference going stoplight to stoplight at lower speed. In fact the lighter Macan actually is pretty quick at the start.

Almost a whirring noise, it comes and goes depending on RPM, usually hear it a round 1100-1150 RPM when decelerating. It is not the transfer case, as I have a brand new one of these installed. Car has 71k miles.

22 de fev. de 2022 · The procedure is you need to download the map zip file (22GB file), then unzip the contents to either a USB stick or SD card. You'll need at least a 32GB SD/USB stick. Zip contents need extracted directly to the root of the SD card. Place the SD /USB into the Macan's slot, open your maps and start the update procedure (see youtube link below).
