Examples of booking engines are Amadeus, Sabre, TravelPort (Galileo) etc. Different airlines use different booking engines and there is no relationship as to what airline uses which engine.

  2. 2 de dez. de 2008 · If they did link everything you would only have one PNR. Cheesy said: through check-in would be fine with it all being oneworld airlines. not necessarily. sudoer said: Note the ^ for QF to/from oneworld on separate PNRs. Also note below the ^ that it is a QF concession, and may or may not be suppported by other OW airlines.

  3. 19 de fev. de 2011 · It's just a system thing that just alerts staff to try to seat you together. You need to have the same PNR to see and select seats for the other person. On our recent trip on different pnrs I could see that someone was sitting next to me but not that it was my partner. Same for him. On our current booking on same pnrs we can see each other.

  4. 13 de abr. de 2024 · Me too.! At least on domestic on single sector trips, I "always" book separately. International, multi sector revenue "usually" one PNR but not always. e.g. found great price SG BNE<->BKK, found separate great price TG BKK<->DEL two days gap for contingency each side 2x PNRs, two different airlines two different alliances.

  8. 23 de mai. de 2012 · So I have no issue that bags will get HBA-HKG via SYD as QF will check through on their own metal on separate PNRs, but by the word of the book, and despite call centre staff saying they have 'linked' the bookings in their system, the bags would need to be checked back in in HKG and associated customs (possible with 6 hour stopover, but ...
