Just wanted to say thanks to the developers who made such a user friendly ui, and easily adaptable and importable pixel art platform. I made a dozen sheets for my sprites last night during a hackathon, saved me HOURS compared to using gimp. That's about it.
11 de set. de 2020 · I haven’t used Piskel but I grabbed Aseprite a few weeks ago and have made a bunch of things with it. It’s fun, works well for pixel stuff. I mostly do non pixel art / animation in Photoshop, but Im liking Aseprite a lot. Watch a tutorial or two on YouTube if you wanna get a better idea for how it works / what it can do.
21 de set. de 2021 · I've currently been using Piskel online for creating my pixel assets and it worked for me for a while but it is quite basic in what it can do and features it offers. I'm aware that more substantial programs exist and the likes of Aseprite, Photoshop and even Paint.Net have been suggested.

(I have no idea how it works on GDevelop) you can rotate on aseprite, along with the tools and extensions that will probably solve any more pixelart problems you're yet to encounter. piskel only has the most basic ...

I love piskel as it has pretty much everything I need and I've been using it for years and it just feels right, at least so far. But on the other hand, I've seen more and more mentions and praise for Aseprite, and I'm wondering if switching would be worth it. For anyone who has used both, what does Aseprite bring to the table that Piskel doesn't?

Godot: game engine. LMMS: music and sound effects. Audacity: music editing. OBS: video streaming/screen-capping for video/historical purposes.

However my students and I have encountered a large problem with the program. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
