11 de ago. de 2023 · MultiMC is open source, wich mean that if you have acces to the code, and basically everything that the software will / can do. If you do not know how to understand code (like me) you might need a friend, or a antivirus that you trust on. I've personally never had troubles with multimc, eather on the Mojang account login and the Microsoft login. 5.
13 de jan. de 2023 · It's a worthwhile switch if you want to avoid the hassle. You could also use your old files from MultiMC if you wish since they seem to use the same format. multimc can no longer import modpacks from curseforge or ftb, prism launcher can. prism is a fork of polymc wich is a fork of multimc.

I know that SKLauncher is written as recommended in the megathread, however, I am not sure if it is open-source. 20 de nov. de 2018 · Make a instance in MultiMC. Open the instance. (This is important, as it will install your selected Minecraft version. Don't copy the old data over yet!) Now paste or move the old data over to the instances .minecraft folder. (MultiMC\instances\Instance Name\.minecraft) If you see a message saying their are existing items, click Replace.

6 de jul. de 2021 · Edit: I found the solution, sharing in case it helps anyone: Open MultiMC. Settings>MultiMC>Features>Update Channel. Change from "Stable" to "Development". Relaunch MultiMC and Update. Go you "Add Instance", there should be a new "CurseForge" tab. Search "Better Minecraft".
