28 de set. de 2016 · Participant. Every lab is different therefore all biopsy result times are different. It took 2 weeks to hear back that it was melanoma for me. One week for one lab to examine, and then they sent it to another more sophisticated lab for a second opinion and reassurance that they've in fact seen melanoma.
24 de set. de 2022 · June 2021 biopsy on head showed nodular melanoma. Doc had taken a picture a year earlier so I know I had it for 18 months or so. Surgery April 2021 removed 7.2mm tumor. All margins and lymph nodes clear. PET showed 2x “very small” nodes 6x4mm on LL lung. “too small to biopsy”.

I am not aware of pinching my calf in a way that would have resulted in a blood blister, plus it’s in a somewhat awkward place to have done that. 29 de mar. de 2011 · The MR is measured by simply examining the excised tumor with a microscope and manually counting the number of cells exhibiting mitosis, an easily identifiable characteristic of dividing cells. This can also be expressed in what is called mitosis per mm2. To convert: 1 HPF = .785 mm2. and 2 mitosis per/10 HPF= .2 per 1 HPF. and 10 HPF= 7.85 mm2.

I had a wide excision done and had four doses of Yervoy. One lump is under my front rib and the other is close to the original site. I'm waiting to hear back from my doctors on next steps, but has anyone ...
