Abrir banco de dados Access 97 .mdb no Access 2017. Boa tarde! Tenho um banco de dados feito no Access 97 e quando tento abrir no Access 2017, do Office 365 em Windows 10, não consigo acesso por falta de permissão. Tenho um arquivo .mdw que possui os usuários e senhas, mas não sei onde colocar ele. Podem me ajudar? Resposta. Gilsimar_Lima.

The mdb file is an attachment to the email message. It will not contain any information about the email message such as sender, to, email dates, etc.
20 de out. de 2021 · Open older MDB databases with Access for MS 365 MSO. The support page for opening older MDB files says to first open the older database - which are a selectable filetype - and then use Database Tools to convert it to the newer format however this version of Access does not allow the file to be opened. Others I know are having the same issue.

You can't convert an .MDE database to a .MDB database - when the .MDE was created, all source code of the VBA modules in the database was removed; there is no way to reconstruct it. You can copy the tables from the .MDE database to a new (or existing) .MDB or .ACCDB database.

I found one article where the author SPECULATED that it might be dropped, but then any fool and his dog can speculate. If it should ever happen Microsoft would surely include converters.
