15 de fev. de 2022 · They have 8 levels of difficulty, with 8 being the easiest. I started with CodeWars then moved on to LeetCode. A couple of downsides to CodeWars: Some of the questions have a short story/scenario which you might find fun or annoying For each question on Leetcode, you can find many answers and explanations in several different languages.
After a year of dedicated effort and consistent practice, I have successfully solved 300 LeetCode questions! I took more time than I would have wanted, but hopefully the journey to 400 will be much quicker.
So I've seen a lot of posts recently asking how to get good at leetcode. I see countless posts from beginners who don't know how to start and panic at not being able to solve easies despite taking a ds&a course. I see posts from those who have done 200+ questions but still can't reliably solve mediums on their own.
So, here I’m going to attempt to offer a thorough explanation of why Leetcode is even a thing at all, for all those out there who don't get why everyone is testing them on dynamic programming and graph theory. Why Leetcode is a Thing: The Software Engineering field is one of the most favorable for qualified job seekers, in general.

If you are aiming for a specific company, you can also filter problems based on the companies and frequency. How much time you want to spend on Leetcode depends entirely on whether you have an interview coming up. Lastly, invest in Leetcode Premium (not an ad) it’s just worth it, especially closer to your interview date.
28 de ago. de 2022 · I'll give a different take - premium is worth it for the detailed solution explanations alone. That's especially useful in the grind75/neetcode era of your leetcode "career". You can of course always find solutions in the discuss section, but people tend to only explain the optimal ones and the quality of explanations is hit or miss.
11 de jul. de 2022 · So 0-500 is phase 1, and it’s nearly complete. This phase is probably the most painful, and I’m happy to be done with it. Phase 2 will be basically redoing some of those problems and fewer new problems to sharpen the existing skills. Phase 3 I imagine is just passively maintaining and doing LC for fun. 249.
Leetcode is hard for multiple reasons. Either the style of the questions doesn't suit you and you need to study it more, or you haven't gotten used to the style of questions yet or the question itself is hard. In the end, it's a grind. It often won't have much to do with your day to day work, though this is not always true.
