Koya, Tampa. What an absolutely incredible experience! 15 courses, not all pictured, with sake and wine pairing. It was divinity defined. Damned if that chef doesn’t look like a young Nick Cave…. Saw you posted this in the Tampa sub a few weeks ago.
Kohya's DeepShrink High-Res Fix is amazing! Produces better composition, better backgrounds, and sharper images, at half the render time!
20 steps (w/ 10 step for hires fix), 800x448 -> 1920x1080. "deep shrink" seems to produce higher quality pixels, but it makes incoherent backgrounds compared to hirex fix. This may be because of the settings used in the extension (they are default), or my limited testing. Times were recorded in real time, not the output of the command window.

Training Steps = (Image Count * Repetitions * Epochs)/Batch Size. Training Steps for Default Settings = 1950. Time = ~20 minutes for the runs not altering training steps.
Thanks. There doesn't seem to be any middle ground. Either the guides are epically long out-of-date YouTube videos that re-cover the same ground over and over again, and refer to tabs and functionality that no longer exist, or, as with your link, specific tips that presume prior knowledge.
And there are several temples and shrines you can visit in addition to any temple you may stay in. I believe Koyasan is worth the trek if you're going for the right reasons. If you're going for Instagram photos, this is not the place for you. There are many holy sites on the mountain and photos are not allowed.
