27 de mai. de 2022 · cavetown is very private about these things. he didn't want to come out but there was years of speculation. he was happily in the closet and got very annoyed whenever people would speculate that he's trans. but then someone dug up an old tweet with him saying the t slur (a slur for trans people) with the express purpose of forcing his hand. he either had to come out then, or be cancelled.

31 de mar. de 2024 · It didn’t feel like MY name, but hers. I think that part of this is the femininity of the name and being non-binary, but I’m not sure. My name is, coincidentally, VERY similar to Juliet- pronounced the same, spelled different. When I first got into Cavetown I had come out as enby and changed my name.

He also said “the foxes and the hounds” referred to masculinity and femininity, and not fitting into either.
