13 de ago. de 2015 · You will then be able to run Cgoban3 offline with. java -jar cgoban.jar. The sound may not be working then, which is a Java problem, but let's not get into that now. The sound and other bugs (?) are the reason why I personally still use method 1 to play online. Enjoy your go!
12 de mai. de 2014 · The very short answer is that OpenJDK 8 as of 2017-08-08 is not officially available for Ubuntu 14.04. There are however several options available: Upgrade to a newer version of Ubuntu. OpenJDK 8 is available from 14.10 and onwards. (OpenJDK 9 from 16.04 LTS onwards, OpenJDK 11 from 18.04 LTS onward).
29 de mar. de 2012 · Install "OpenJDK Java 7" from the Software center. Locate the .jar file and go to the permissions tab in the properties. Click "allow executing file as program". Go to the "Open With" tab and set "OpenJDK Java 7 Runtime" as default. Click the jar file, and you can start playing minecraft on Ubuntu : ) Share.

28 de jun. de 2018 · The simplest way to install Java on Ubuntu is to use OpenJDK. This will work fine for most people. To install it, click on the small button with the Ubuntu logo on it, as shown in the screenshot below. After opening the Dash Home, you need to type in Terminal. Click on the icon that is circled in the screenshot below.
Step 1: Download JAD tool from https://bit.ly/2XuRzT5. Step 2: Extract the zip file and get jad.exe. Step 3: Create a .java file (DecompilerDemo.java) in the same folder in which you have extracted the zip file. Step 4: Compile and run the .java file. It will generate a .class file in the respective folder.

(Synaptics: File - Add downloaded packages) Alternatively, you can also just double click the files. That will open the Ubuntu Software Center.
