A instalação conclui mas quando reinicio o computador o explorer não está lá. Experimenta criar um usuário local (sem conta Microsoft). Suspeito que pode ser alguma coisa no perfil do usuário atual. Quando tento ativar o Internet Explorer 11 nos recursos adicionais do windows 10 só recebo mensagem de erro em retorno.

Para o Windows 8, o IE 11 é uma atualização. Verifique nas atualizações instaladas no Windows Update a que se refere ao IE11 e desinstale. Ao reiniciar o computador a versão anterior será ativada.

Under the “Internet Explorer compatibility” section, turn on the .'Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode'. then below that setting, click the add button, and enter the web address of that web page you download work files from.
