31 de ago. de 2022 · In my experience, the fans kick in mostly due to high temps of the gpu. I think the tresholds are fixed and set in bios, from what I observed max fan speed is reached with 90C CPU or 80C GPU. Try with ryzen controller to limit CPU temp, it should help also to have lower GPU temps, at little performance cost. Reply. dantheman3222.

6 de jun. de 2021 · You may have to lubricate the fans if needed. you can disassemble the fans and clean them thoroughly. apply lubricant. mine went from 86C down to 62C when playing. you have to look closely to see if the fans are spinning freely. check youtube videos for that. 8 de abr. de 2021 · Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 overheating upto 100 degrees. My Ideapad Gaming 3 (R5 4600H) is overheating. I recently downloaded a software to check the temps of my laptop and found out my CPU max temps hit 100 degrees while my GPU only hits 80 while gaming. My laptop is 6 months old and I understand the cooling is bad on this laptop but I am concerned.
That Lenovo having a dedicated HDMI, I said myself that it'll be even better to only have one such adapter... But sadly I just discovered (after trying hard to make it work) that the Lenovo USB-C port DOESN'T allow an external monitor! This connector cannot be used to connect external display devices. go to amazon and you can get a lenovo legion 5 with double the ssd and ram, better cpu for $1025. Plus rgb on the laptop itself and the legion series is plain better than the ideapad. Although $549 is a good deal - for gaming the 256gb is way too small and 8gb is also too low for gaming AAA games.
