5 de dez. de 2021 · I had a mk7.5 DSG and now a mk8 MT, both SE. Every now and then I feel like going back to the 7.5, it felt tighter and more tactile than the mk8. I also felt like I had more fun in it, might just be a jaded memory thing. I "test drove" a mk7.5 MT recently to see if my memory of it was right or if I was just being nostalgic.

Only use 93, apr stage 1, and at over 550 miles a week, depending on the traffic, I average between 33 and 35 miles per gallon, with 500 of those miles being pure interstate driving. (Average highway speed is 68 mph) I'm very meticulous about this. +1 to this.

3 de fev. de 2020 · in Brazil we got the Gol hatchback (2-door only), Voyage sedan (4-door and 2-door, back then 2 door cars sold more here lol), Parati wagon (2-door only), and Saveiro ute/pickup (2-door only) in the second gen they got 4 doors (but the voyage only came back on the "fifth" generation) and the parati left in the 5th generation

That usually crops up around 20-40k miles. Often you just have to top up your coolant a couple times a year, but some people had faster leaks. VW doesn't have a fix.
