I understand that infinity is not a number but a concept and there's no way to determine $ 0 \cdot \infty$ to be anything else. But why is DNE a special case if it is not a number too? Thanks!

So, my question is, can the limit of the sum of the functions still exist even if individually, the limits of each function DNE? If anyone could help out, that'd be great. Thanks

But how are we supposed to prove limit doesn't exists? The problem is when we are proving for a limit we already know what the limit is and with that, algebra is all that's needed.
