29 de set. de 2015 · Specify a directory and extract the files. In the extraction directory, run DXSETUP.exe, which will install all components of DirectX 9.0 / legacy DirectX SDK. I can confirm that the Standalone installer works and can be installed on Windows 10. I installed it just before I posted this answer.

Beyond this point, support was dropped, although 9.0c was maintained up until 16 Mar 2009, you won't be able to install this version. A direct link to the version that should work is here. Thank you.

24 de nov. de 2016 · If the game support STEAM, tell it through that to run in DX7 mode (Open Steam --> "My Games" --> right-click the game which needs to be reconfigured, select "Properties", click the "Set launch options..." button, Add the DirectX level launch option of -DX7.
