As last resort un-install all software using SPTD layer (e.g. Daemon Tools, Alcohol), open registry editor, browse to the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\sptd and set Start value to 4 (i.e. disabled), and reboot. 11 de dez. de 2002 · As it only happens with image files mounted with Daemon Tools, and is solved by closing the program, it sure LOOKS like it's an Daemon-bug/issue. Yes, new DT does not allow to delete file when mounted, but after unmount it is released and can be deleted. Maybe your problem is related to some antivirus or other tool.

I have a .mir file, and I was told that I can mount this with Daemon tools. I have found no such option, but as I was told so, there should be one.
Can't install Deamon Tools Lite in Windows 10. 04.10.2018, 15:05. I have a paid license for Daemon Tools Lite and I can't install it on my Windows 10 Home PC. When I run the installer for version 10.9 , the usual message of allowing the installer to change settings pops up, but after that nothing (no pop-up, no error, no tray icon - just nothing).
