She can do well if skilled but morde, sett, illaoi, shen, or jax could all be viable picks that do well against him, while not being strictly counter picks. Second, the bigges thing to manage in a lane vs urgot is his shotguns.

Mordekaiser, AP ranged mids (azir, ryze, anivia) Rammus, good Fiora players, Illaoi, Darius pre lvl 9, good ranged top adc players, Sett, good Akali players. Worst matchup in history is Rammus by far.
What I want to say is, Sett is in disadvantage against Urgot, because he will try to run at him in circles, and that would make that Sett doesn't know where to aim his W accurately. gavdad13. •. Fiora, Darius, vayn, vlad, and Quinn are my least favorites. Urgot is actually a pretty solid counter to Illaoi if you just focus on dodging her e. Rammus is a troll pick and like earlier posts said unfightable after early game, beg to swap with mid after about level 6. Morde is hit and miss.
My advice for you: 1, dont engage Urgot until you hit lv6, try to build ninja tabi + phage then build stridebreaker. Call jug if you can, Urgot is very weak 1v2 before lv6. 2, try predict his E and open your W shield when he E flip you, then run to other direction, run away from his W range then you'll fine.

25 de mai. de 2021 · Morde is a counter to Urgot for sure. I would never ban morde though. This same question came up a month ago or so. And someone posted an awesome guide on this matchup. I would look back for that cuz that guy is definitely smarter than me. Level 1-2 you wanna get on him ASAP. Chunk him down if you can. After that you farm safe.

U can probably 1v1 him to be honest if you are ahead even late game (lets say your an item or half an item ahead) ONLY if you have thornmail tabi and you make sure to hit a monster W.
13 de jun. de 2020 · I've had a match where urgot had a blue buff. One way I mitigated this is to have a trapclaw on the farthest unit, it stuns him for a little bit, hopefully that buys you time. Trapclaw is a good counter to Urgot. Apart from that try to position a unit or two behind your mech so they get pulled in by Urgot first.
