2 de fev. de 2023 · The 12400f is still one of the most recommended CPUs for value and the 13400 will probably take that place eventually. Today's consoles are 8 core 16 thread CPUs and games are definitely made with that hardware in mind. None of the bottleneck calculators I have seen are even remotely accurate.

Learning what a bottleneck is and how it effects you is far more important than any benchmark/calculator would ever be. 22 de nov. de 2023 · Secondly, there will ALWAYS be a bottleneck, you can't escape it. One part will always out perform the other no matter what. The trick is to minimize that gap. For instance, these numbers I am just making up for now, lets say a Ryzen 5 3600x is 2x faster than a GTX 1060 6gb, the GPU should typically max out before the CPU surpasses 50-60% usage.
21 de dez. de 2018 · I think it means that when you get a 20% better cpu your fps will improve, but when you get a 21% better cpu you will have the same performance, because now for example the gpu is at 100% capacity. Its really depending on the task and hardware where your bottleneck will be and calculator can't take everything into account. 2.

31 de mar. de 2023 · According to PC builds, I could toss in a RX 6700 in there for almost no bottleneck. (0% on general or GPU task, around 5% on CPU tasks.) That would be lovely as the RX 6700 seems a very good deal where I am, but it sounds to good to be true ? The i5 is 7 years old and was not even top of the line then. The 6700 is only one year old.

The best bottleneck calculators are the ones you make yourself and test a real world case you actually use. And even then if the performance is high enough you shouldn't care about bottlenecks.
13 de mar. de 2023 · Any bottleneck calculator is shit. The only trustable things are real benchmarks of accrual games running. 13700k is way overkill for a 4070 ti unless it is for work. Otherwise a 13400 is more than enough for a 4070 ti and 4080. You will not need to change cpu in another 8 years.
