18 de jun. de 2019 · The updated Bosniak classification of cystic renal masses (Bosniak Classification, version 2019) aims to improve the original classification’s ability to predict the likelihood of malignancy in a cystic renal mass.
11 de ago. de 2024 · The Bosniak classification of cystic renal masses (version 2019), or usually simply Bosniak classification v2019, is an update of the Bosniak criteria published in 2005.
2 de jan. de 2022 · The Bosniak 2019 classification defines a cystic renal mass as one in which <25% of the mass is composed of enhancing tissue in order to avoid an aggressive necrosed solid renal mass being termed Bosniak IV.
16 de abr. de 2021 · The Bosniak Classification, version 2019 can be applied to more cystic masses imaged at CT, MRI, and to some extent US, with an expanded number of cystic masses that can be characterized as Bosniak II masses.
23 de dez. de 2020 · Using Bosniak classification version 2019, cystic renal masses were classified into 12 category I, 19 category II, 13 category IIF, four category III, and 20 category IV by CT and eight category I, 15 category II, 23 category IIF, nine category III, and 13 category IV by MRI.
2 de jun. de 2021 · The purpose of this study was to compare versions 2005 and 2019 of the Bosniak classification system in terms of class distribution, diagnostic performance, interreader agreement, and intermodality agreement between CT and MRI.
This proposed update to the Bosniak classification addresses some of these shortcomings. The primary modifications incorporate MRI, establish definitions for previously vague imaging terms, and enable a greater proportion of masses to enter lower-risk classes.
