The project was originally started by BlueMaxima in an attempt to outrun the disappearance of webgames prior to the death of Flash. It has since evolved into a major undertaking involving hundreds of community contributors from around the world, encompassing both games and animations created for numerous internet plugins, frameworks, and standards.

3 de jul. de 2023 · 1 - After a lot of discussion we're changing our name to **Flashpoint Archive**. It's been a while since BlueMaxima stepped down from an active role and we want to let the project stand proud on its own two feet. Long live BlueMaxima!
Voyager is a collection of parser-based text adventures for Windows, presented using the Flashpoint Launcher and packed with several interpreters to play them out of the box. There are a little over 600 freely-distributed and abandonware adventures here, taken from lots of sources.
