19 de abr. de 2020 · Honestly, batocera just makes your game library look fancy with a couple of extra features. It doesn't give you any extra performance over emulating through windows. I believe that windows works better with some AMD stuff because of certain drivers. Don't quote me on that. Lol. And def mess with some settings.

Only way is download Linux mint or Ubuntu on a flash drive boot it up don't install it connect the drive with batocera and it pop up with everything boot ROMs system ect then you can do what ever you want.

22 de dez. de 2022 · I currently have Win11 HP laptops and I can get Batocera to boot if I disable secure boot, but then I can't boot windows without going back to the BIOS to turn on secure boot again. I've not found a ton of info on this, but I think the Batocera wiki says something about some manufacturers being better than others in allowing the BIOS to dual boot.
Hello, I have read wonders of batocera and my intention was to install it on a Mini pc but I have read that it is much better on Linux because in Windows there are compatibility problems. Has anyone had any experience with Windows? My problem is that I don't know much about Linux and I don't know if I could handle it. Best regards.
9 de mai. de 2021 · Open your batocera system. Goes to Windows system and select the windows installers option. Select FEZ to initialize the install (a blue screen will shows up, don't worry) Confirms the installation process until it ends. Pay attention now! Don't open the installed game already!
31 de dez. de 2023 · This is a small tutorial on getting windows games working that needs Redist files, DirectX, .NET, C++. I'd recommend installing your games on PC and then copy the game folder over to your Batocera System. Use the prefix: .wine and not .pc for the folder extension. Rename all your Windows games with the prefix, .wine, not .pc.
