I wanted to burn it to an USB, but got a warning that the USB may not be bootable. 28 de jun. de 2022 · I’ve downloaded balenaEtcher on both my Mac and PC. Getting set up and downloading the image I wanted to flash was very easy on both. But also on both, balenaEtcher is not recognizing my USB. I purchased a brand new microSD card reader: and a 4GB sd card both SanDisk and plug into my USB port. I can see on the PC that the SanDisk is there, but I can’t select it on balenaEtcher.

Worked fine and I thought I was done with it, so I deleted the Linux and was going to use it as a plain Flash stick after that. It’s been working without any issues but I see when the flash after flashing is completed on the UI, Etcher shows a progress bar for validation. I am curious what the process of image validation is.
