17 de abr. de 2020 · So, my private home network is not 192.168.1.xxx. The default IP address of an extender is 192.168.1.250, SO I had to go into my computer's WiFi network settings: Change Dynamic to Static. Set Static IP to 192.168.1.5, Set IP Mask to 255.0.0.0. Set DNS to 8.8.8.8 for now.

Then hardwire a pc/laptop into the router. then with it still disconnected from the modem, try the 192.168.1.1 address. See if that works. 3.

17 de mai. de 2023 · typing in https://192.168.1.1 rather than just 192.168.1.1 (when I typed in just 192.168.1.1, my browser would automatically fill in the https://, so, I'm not exactly sure what the difference is when I do it versus letting my browser do it.) The mystery is not solved, but the problem seems to be. Thank you all for staying with me.
30 de abr. de 2020 · All IPs and devices need to be under the same pool string. Thus the main pool string is 192.168.0.1 or .1.1, which ever you choose on the router. The size of the pool by default is .2 to .254 in most cases. I choose to lower the pool size to 192.168.0.100 to.150 for my needs.
